Did you know that GunVault handgun safes are made by the Cannon brand. You wouldn’t know it based on their gun safe reviews. Cannon gun safes are consistently a high quality safe. From their small home safes all the way up to their fouty rifle capacity Safari series, these are top of the line safes. So why are the reviews of Cannon safes so different from those of GunVault safes?
To put it simply, Cannon does not create the GunVaults with the same quality. If you read the reviews of GunVaults you see problems ranging from the door not opening to the door not closing, neither of which is desirable with a gun safe. You can’t find a gun safe with the name Cannon on it for under $500. On the other hand, Gunvault safes start around $30. However, the price difference does not justify the drastic reduction in quality measures. There are a number of less expensive handgun safes that are of much higher quality than GunVaults. The first one that comes to mind is the Barska biometric safe for less than $200. For the top of the line handgun safe go for a Titan and avoid GunVaults. For a top of the line rifle safe, stick with Cannon, a trusted (albeit inconsistent) gun safe brand.
